A: Quite literally, it ended up on the floor at a salon in downtown LA about a year and a half ago. I wore that hairstyle for a few years, and it was time for a change. Such is life!! Maybe I'll grow it out again one day... maybe...

A: I guess if the situation called for it I would, although it's much easier to trigger foot pedals while wearing shoes. I'll most likely be keeping em covered until I play a show on the beach or something.

I wasn't named after anyone, as far as I know at least. I have two older brothers who received biblical names, but my parents went renegade when it came around to me.

Q: What is a good tip for my 9yr old who is now learning guitar?

A: I'd say: have fun, and practice!! It takes a lot of practice, especially at the beginning, to get to where you really feel like you can "play the guitar." At such a young age, it can feel more like work than play, and the discipline to practice can be hard to muster.

So try and keep it fun -- ask the teacher to involve songs he/she likes, and encourage him/her to play along to the recordings that inspired him/her to want to play in the first place. I did that a lot when I first started (even if I didn't know how to play the song), and in addition to being fun it reminded me of where I wanted to go with my playing and gave me something to shoot for.

The buzz word is fun -- too much pressure or intensity can make a kid want to give up, but an enjoyable experience at a young age can create a great foundation to build upon as they get older.

A: Hmmm... never thought the tickling subject would be so popular, but the answer is: sometimes. As for the stats: I'm a size 9 shoe in most brands, and 5'11" in height.

A: Thank you for the compliment!! As for your "silly" question: for the most part I'm not ticklish, but I'm definitely more prone to be while in a goofy mood. It also depends on who is doing the tickling :-)
